We value helping people and whilst we work hard with charities we also like to have a cause that we can highlight, help and directly benefit a persons life.
Our current chosen cause is the Sophie Godber Trust.
Sophie is a brave, intelligent and dedicated little girl who unfortunately suffers from a strain of Congenital Muscular Dystrophy that is degenerative to the point that she is unlikely to see adulthood, The strain that Sophie has is so rare that no charity support is available, and her parents must try on their own to give Sophie the best they can.
Sophie was a quiet baby, with very little crying and seemed very floppy. She took her time over feeds as she tired of sucking quickly. We knew that at six weeks old Sophie had a general weakness and Doctors diagnosed her with having Cerebral Palsy. There were many questions asked about what the future would be for Sophie. She would just look up with the question in her eyes "what's wrong mummy?" Read More.
After speaking with Sophies mum, Sarah, we are doing everything we can to raise awareness of Sophies cause and ask for your help
